Roslin Cells Retains ISO 9001 Certification
Roslin Cells retains certification to the internationally recognised quality management system standard, ISO 9001
Edinburgh, Scotland – 06 June 2011: Roslin Cells Ltd., world leaders in the isolation of new clinical grade undifferentiated stem cells, announced today that is has successfully retained certification to ISO 9001, the internationally recognised management system standard which serves as a benchmark for quality management systems.
In retaining certification, Roslin Cells has demonstrated a commitment to quality management and continuous improvement throughout all its business and operational activities. Having undergone an initial intensive fast-track assessment and certification in 2009 Roslin Cells has been inspected six times in two years by BSI Group, a leading global business services organisation providing standards-based solutions in more than 150 countries, and in that time has received no non-conformances.
A quote from the BSI assessment report reads: “This management system remains effective, dynamic and very comprehensive and is a good example of a graphic, explanatory and user friendly system giving the organisation their required consistency, ability to deliver objectives, and effective controls to deliver the product to the required standard within budget”.
